It has to be one of the funnest events of your life.  It is the Buddhist New Year, celebrated April 13-15. It is the end of dry season, the beginning of rain, the earth’s blood of life. All farmers are happy as another growing season begins. You celebrate by going to your Wat, giving offerings for love ones, and love ones who passed away. And you sprinkle a little water on the person to mark this special time.  Easter and Spring time for other societies.  However in classic Thai and Farang style this event becomes a time you will never forget.
